Aaaaand I made another Stardew Valley pattern. This one is very simple and quick to whip up on your own, so I will write it directly here rather than doing a PDF.
  • For the past few days I've been grinding Qi coins when my luck is high. After multiple trials (700+ spins), I started to notice a pattern in the slot machine matches I would get. The following data was collected on a good luck day, with lucky food (+5 luck) and replicated on multiple slot machines in the casino.
  • Videogameasset My games. When logged in, you can choose up to 12 games that will be displayed as favourites in this menu.
  • Stardew Valley - Farm Animals Cross Stitch Pattern. Instant Download! A simple design of all the farm animals you can keep in barns and coops, from the game Stardew Valley! Designed for 14ct aida and measures 6.3' x 5.9' (88 x 83 stitches). The pattern would fit nicely in a 7' hoop! This pattern uses 36 colours in DMC thread.

The green one was the prototype. Once again, the second time around with some tweaks I got the shape I wanted. I also added the star bobble because CUTE.
I used a thinner yarn, the Caron Simply Soft yarns, because I wanted them to have that slime sheen. They turned out really cute and squishy--I wish I could have a Stardew Valley themed party and have a Slime Slingshot game for the guests. And themed foods...and... guess I just need to make local friends that play Stardew Valley!

Stardew Valley fans have been treated to a number of updates. Calico Jack and slot machines in the casino now statistically favor the player. You could predict the mushroom level pattern in. Planet June has an excellent tutorial for this: http://www.planetjune.com/blog/the-ultimate-finish-for-amigurumi/
If you are adding a star bobble, you can leave a tail to chain to form the bobble. Then weave the excess yarn back through the chain and into the body.
You can add a star bobble by using the tiny star pattern by Repeat Crafter Me with yellow yarn:
Glue it to the antennae you made. Alternatively, you could use a pipe cleaner and a star bead, or a pom pom, really anything you like!
----Pattern End!------

I received Stardew Valley for my birthday and it is really all I can think about right now. I'm playing at a very slow pace since I only get about an hour of playtime a day (after Emmy is asleep and the house is clean etc etc). But I can feel that I am so very, very addicted. After all, I loved the heck out of Harvest Moon 64 and Animal Crossing--so this is right up my alley.
In the game there are cute magical creatures known as the Junimo that you can help and in return they help you! They are quiet, bouncy little things that are a bit shy.

I made the green one first and it came out not quite the shape I wanted. I redid it with a thicker, yellow yarn and tweaked my pattern. If yours is still looking a little squatty, try adding more sc only rows in the middle.

My daughter thinks they are birthday cakes. Ha! Well, they sure are cute. I thought about adding a bell inside next time so they jingle.
The pattern is available for download here through Google Drive in PDF. Enjoy making a bunch of Junimos! I'm getting back to playing Stardew Valley and getting Sam to fall in love with me, dangit.
